New Product Release - Elmon Inductive
Introducing Elmon Inductive

The ELMON inductive transmission system is a specialised signal transmission technology developed to facilitate communication between moving safety components and their stationary control units.

Primarily used on automatic sliding gates, sectional doors, and industrial machinery, the system utilises inductive coupling to send signals from a moving contact edge to a safety relay without the need for physical cables that could otherwise suffer from mechanical wear and fatigue.

By employing a combination of stationary and gate-mounted coils along a cable loop, the ELMON system ensures a maintenance-free, wear-resistant connection that complies with rigorous safety standards like ISO 13849-1, making it a highly reliable solution for environments where traditional wiring is prone to failure.

Key Features

  • Inductive Coils: A stationary coil and a traveling coil (SPK) communicate through a shared cable loop to bridge the gap between moving parts.

  • Wear-Free Operation: Because there is no physical wire dragging or bending, the system eliminates the common risk of cable breakage in high-cycle environments.

  • Safety Compliance: Designed to meet Category 3 safety requirements, ensuring that the signal for an emergency stop or obstruction is transmitted with minimal delay.

  • Versatility: The system is often used in outdoor settings (like gate perimeters) because it is resistant to environmental factors like dust, moisture, and radio interference.
