The BEA ELIX is an advanced opening sensor specifically designed for automatic swing doors, utilising FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) technology to manage people flow more intelligently.

Unlike standard motion sensors that trigger for any movement, the ELIX analyzes the speed, direction, and distance of pedestrians to distinguish between someone intending to enter and someone simply passing by (cross-traffic).

By anticipating user intent, it ensures that doors open only when necessary, creating a more seamless experience while significantly reducing building energy loss.

Intelligent Intent Detection: Uses MoWa (Moving Wave) FMCW technology to analyse pedestrian trajectory and speed, filtering out irrelevant movements.

Mobile App Configuration: Eliminates the need for mechanical fine-tuning. Installers use a dedicated app to set parameters, define exclusion zones, and view the detection field in real-time.

Customisable Detection Zones: Precise field dimensioning allows users to mask out specific areas, such as waiting rooms or parallel corridors, to prevent false activations.
